An Oriental Rug Will Enhance Your Home Print E-mail
Tuesday, 02 January 2007

The addition of an oriental rug can greatly enhance the appearance of your home.  It can cover worn flooring or stains, and it can bring all the colors of your furnishings together.  An oriental rug can add a lot of beauty to your home, and it can be an economical solution to a flooring problem.

If you have stained or damaged flooring, an oriental rug can make the room look new again.  This is a much more economical solution to purchasing new flooring for the whole room.  There is no cost for installation, or a pad, so purchasing an oriental rug costs less and takes hardly any time at all to lay down.  There are generally no extra accessories to be purchased with your oriental rug, such as pads or special products, so you will know what you're spending up front.

An oriental rug can bring several open rooms together, even if they incorporate different colors in the decor.  If you have a large open living room, dining area, and kitchen for example, you can put down matching oriental rugs that incorporate all the colors in each of the areas.  This creates a cohesiveness that brings the look together without all the areas using the same exact colors.

Oriental rugs can also save wear and tear on carpets and other permanent flooring.  Placing smaller rugs over high traffic areas protects the flooring underneath, and the oriental rug is easier to care for.  Oriental rugs often hold up better than traditional carpeting and are easier to clean and maintain.  Oriental rugs can greatly add to the beauty of your home, and most will provide years of enjoyment and use for substantially less than traditional flooring.
